The first event that had a great impact on me was the Watts riots.The watts riots had started because of police brutality.A young man name Marquett Fry was pulled over for dui wreckless driving,and was harrast by the officer.The group the surrounded the scene was angry,so they started to riot.The impact this event had was big because the national guard had stopped the riots from breaking out and the people had no other choice than to give up and stop the riot or else they would have died.Lots of people died.There was lots of dammages.Innocient lives were taken away from their families.This change South LA by making the area more worse than other areas.
The second event that had a great impact was the LA riots.The LA riots took place in lots of areas.there were lots of fires and dustruction.The LA riots started after the officers of the Rodney Kind beaten were found guilty.thier was a very big impact on the city by the riot.People burnned houses dow.They also had jumped workers and celebrated after the riot ended.Ther were lots of damages.Many people had diedlots injured. Also many stuff were broken down and builidings were caught on fire by the rioters. many people were arrested and killed like 54 were killed by the police and many others were left injured by gunshot wounds.
The third event that had a big impact was the crack epidimic. Many people turned to drugs after when the jobs were getting low. the cia was the one who brought the drugs to La. Freeway RICKY ROSS was the one involved selling the drugs to the people in La. many people looked up tp him he made alot of money selling the drugs like 2 mllion a day thats how many people bought drugs from him. Ricky got many people to start smoking he went to jail like 3 times but he stiil was selling to get easy money. the last time he went in he was set up ..
My three most important events that had a great impact on south central were the La riots,watts riots , crack epidimic. These were the one that made a bigger impact becuse they were the ones that destroyyed the most south central. I think that south central will change by everybody to get united and get along with each other.
